A strong safety culture is built through visible leadership and proactive safety practices, with a focus on eliminating and mitigating risks. 

EMPLOYEE EMPOWERMENT:

Employees and contractors are given the relevant training and education to allow them to be empowered to stop work when unsafe conditions are identified and to participate in safety initiatives. 

MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS:

Effective health and safety management systems are implemented at each industrial asset to ensure integrity of plant and equipment, processes, and protective systems. 

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT:

DUCAT AFRICA’s  HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) and SHERQ (Safety, Health, Environment, Risk, and Quality) program focuses on creating safe workplaces, protecting employees, contractors and communities health and minimising environmental impacts.
