DUCAT AFRICA Logistics is a warehousing, transport and storage operator of dry bulk, containerised, project and abnormal cargo for third parties in addition to managing our own energy facilities. We work across Southern Africa (South Africa, Botswana, Mozambique, Namibia, Zimbabwe) as well as supporting transport corridors reaching into central Africa (Zambia, DRC).

DUCAT AFRICA Logistics delivers a full spectrum of services to deliver end to end supply chain solutions. We deliver flexible and customisable services for industrial customers and freight forwarders.

Our physical assets are allied to a strong operational and technological structure where in addition to ISO 9001 and 220001 certifications, we have rolled out warehouse management, telematics and cargo tracking systems which gives our clients the comfort in knowing where their cargo is at any given time.

DRY BULK

DUCAT Logistics works with importers and exporters of dry bulk, agri bulk and agriculture products for bulk, bagged and containerised shipments.

Our in-port location in Cape Town and experience in handling complex cargoes, including; project, rice, sugar, cement, clinker, fertiliser cargo have led us to be recognised as a trusted logistics partner for leading commodity trading houses and household brands.

We offer our clients in Cape Town, Durban, Port Elizabeth / Coega, either a full end to end solution or specific services, including but not limited to; customs clearance, stevedoring, vessel agency, cargo handling, storage including bonded storage.

TRANSPORTATION

DUCAT Africa Logistics owns and operates its own fleet in addition to contracted tonnage. We currently offer the following services:

STORAGE

WESTERN CAPE:

DUCAT Logistics, owns and manages in-port and landside (Salt River and Paarden Island) storage facilities. Our expertise lies in project and abnormal cargoes.

The DUCAT Logistics Cape Town Port Warehouse and Container Yard is located inside the Port of Cape Town, 500m from the container terminal exit gates. We operate a 4500m2 cross-dock warehouse and have 2000m2 container yard, equipped with 42 ton reach-stacker. The warehouse is certified Food Grade, with a Certificate of Acceptability, and ideally placed for any BMA / DAFF Inspections.

Our location is ideal for any Abnormal / Out of Gauge cargo that needs to be offloaded or loaded onto Flat-Racks or Open-Top Containers.

 Our Cape Town Port warehouse we offer the following services;

  • Staging of Import Containers for staggered delivery, or Export Containers if Port Stacks Date push out

  • Container VGM

  • Container Fumigation

  • Abnormal Cargo Lashing / Crating

  • Palletising & Shrink-Wrap

  • Unpacking and Repacking Cargo as per specific PO’s

  • Cargo Storage Inside Warehouse or Externally in Yard
